We offer a full line of services ranging from a trio to a full orchestra. Prices vary depending on the date (season, off-season) day (weekday or weekend), location (NYC or out of town), venue, type of performance, etc.

Here is the list of possible services:

  • SOLO PIANO TO JAZZ QUARTETS
    This is the prefered choice for economical background music.
  • FELIX AND THE CATS QUINTET (5 PCS)
    The most popular choice for intimate gatherings.
  • COCKTAIL HOUR SPECIAL:
    This is is an affordable alternative to a complete live evening and can supplement those events that include disc jockies.
  • COMPACT BIG BAND:
    Our 8-9 piece unit features our own arrangements and is an affordable alternative to the big band. This band will give the event a very intimate society sound.
  • BIG BAND:
    Our 15 pc big band features the great arrangements of the 1930s -40s with some latin mixed in from the 1950's. The big band sound is like no other, and is highly suitable for grand events such as museum openings, large weddings or corporate functions.
    We can mix and match smaller combos during intermission, if continous music is desired.
  • SMALL COMBOS:
    Ranging from duo (2 pc) to 7 pcs that gives the most spontaneity and can cover a broad band of music from blues to modern swing. This configuration is desirable when parties are smaller, and require a higher degree of flexibility.
  • CLASSICAL GUITAR PACKAGES FOR CEREMONIES:
    A popular approach to wedding ceremonies is a lighter less baroque sound which feature classical acoustic guitar by our master Bill Wurtzel. This can be upgraded to a string quartet if required.
  • KEYNOTE VOCALISTS:
    Our group is proud to feature Jim Malloy who is Cafe Society par excellence. His style is smooth and sophisticated.
    For that R&B dimension we have Tony Middleton on staff, as well as the elegant songstress Francine Whitney.
  • HAMMOND ORGAN QUARTETS:
    Felix is on the job with the B-3 to give you the uptown Harlem Jazz repertoire featuring
    the Bill Dogget alumnae including Tootsie Bean, Bill Wurtzel , and Calvin Lynch.
    There is an extra charge for moving the equipment including the Leslie speakers; many of our clients thinks its well worth it.
  • EQUIPMENT PLACEMENT:
    If you are a restaurant and want our band , we can arrange to loan equipment to facilitate our performances. This is available for at least 30+ bookings . This includes pianos, organs, and public address systems.
